Members wanted more discussion on the motion that was made in December’s chamber meeting to have all the meetings at Susie’s kitchen and at Viking Lake Concession.  This has been an on-going issue. Some members feel strongly on meeting at Susie’s because she is local. Others feel that is only fair to ask the chamber members that cater food to participate as they have supported the Stanton Community in so many activities and not have a policy of excluding them.  A motion was made by Brian Hopf to have the officers contact Fareway, Hy-Vee and Pizza Ranch to see if they are interested in being a caterer. From the feedback that they receive, the officers will make a recommendation to the members for ONLY discussion at the February’s meeting.  Second by Amy Sallach. Motion passed.  Please note that the recommendation will only be for discussion. NO MOTION OR VOTE WILL BE MADE UNTIL MARCH’S REGULAR CHAMBER MEETING.

Next meeting will be Monday, February 1, 2010 at Susie’s Kitchen
