                The monthly meeting of the Stanton Chamber of Commerce was held on Monday, November 1, 2010, at Viking Lake Concession.  The meeting was called to order by President Zeb McFarland.

Child Resource Center 
Hart:  A letter will be sent out to residents in Stanton that will ask for pledges/donations to help maintain the SCRC budget.  They will also be applying for a grant for the storm shelter.

YMCA
A McDonald:  Pat Gilliland is retiring full time at the YMCA, however she will continue to work part-time.  YMCA hired Elizabeth Moore as the Membership Director. 
Halland Village
H Clark: There are two apartments that are vacant.
Covenant Church
P Warder:  Reported that the Wednesday kids club is going well with 30 kids participating.  There will be a community Christmas program on December 15.  They also participated in Trick or Treat on the Trail.  
Lutheran Church

Montgomery County Memorial Hospital

Officer Nomination
Discussed 2011 officers.  Katie Hart will be President.  Will need to fill the Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer positions.  Nominations need to be submitted to one of the current officers before December’s meeting so we can vote. 
 
Next Chamber meeting will be at Susie’s Kitchen on Monday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m.
