The City of Stanton and Stanton Community Schools recently partnered and planted 27 trees along the Greenbelt Walking Trail in Stanton and Anderson Park. It was a great opportunity for the 8th Graders and team to learn more about trees, work together to complete a project and continue to better the community with benefits for many years to come!
A special thanks to Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Trees for Kids Grant for making this opportunity possible. Also a special thanks to Councilmen Eric Paulson and James Cavner, Mayor Jeff Magneson, City of Stanton employees Travis Taylor and David Wagg and everyone at Stanton Community Schools!
