Stanton Evangelical Covenant Church
The Evangelical Covenant Church of Stanton, Iowa, is a historic congregation rooted in the town’s Swedish immigrant heritage. Founded in 1885, the church is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination, which emphasizes biblical faith, grace, and compassionate service. Located at 308 Eastern Avenue, the church offers Sunday School at 9:30 AM and Worship Service at 10:45 AM. With a mission of “Leading Generations to Christ,” the church continues to serve the Stanton community with a blend of tradition and forward-looking faith.

Stanton Mamrelund Lutheran Church
Mamrelund Lutheran Church has stood as a spiritual and architectural landmark in Stanton for nearly 150 years. Founded in 1870 by Swedish immigrants, Mamrelund—named after the biblical “Oaks of Mamre”—continues to be a welcoming community rooted in faith, worship, and service. Known for its towering 165-foot spire and strong music and worship traditions, the church blends Lutheran heritage with a forward-looking embrace of technology and inclusive ministry. Worship is celebrated every Sunday at 10:30 AM. Mamrelund also supports the Stanton community through youth outreach, a food bank, and its Good Shepherd Christian Preschool, housed in the Viking Center. All are welcome to join in worship or explore this historic, faith-filled congregation.
Stanton Strivers 4-H Club
Stanton Strivers 4-H Club is an active and welcoming youth organization for students in 4th–12th grade, dedicated to developing leadership, community involvement, and lifelong skills. Part of the global 4-H network, the club meets monthly and participates in hands-on service projects like planting flowers on Main Street, caroling at the Care Center, and baking for community members. Members also take part in educational project tours and mentor younger participants in the local Clover Kids program for grades K–3. Stanton Strivers encourages youth to grow through public speaking, teamwork, and goal-setting—all while having fun and making new friends. New members are always welcome!

Stanton Fire & Rescue
Stanton Fire and Rescue Department has proudly served the Stanton community with dedication and professionalism for over a century. Established in 1893 for fire protection and expanded in 1955 to include emergency medical care and transport, the department continues its mission to provide high-quality emergency services.

Stanton American Legion Post 406
Stanton American Legion Post 406 has been a cornerstone of patriotism and service in Stanton, Iowa. Dedicated to supporting veterans, mentoring youth, and fostering community spirit, the Post actively organizes events such as the annual Memorial Day Program, a community Easter Egg Hunt, and the popular Biscuits & Gravy Supper. Stanton’s Old Lumber Yard Events Center (OLY)
The OLY (Old Lumber Yard Events Center) is Stanton’s premier venue for weddings, receptions, parties, meetings, and special events of all kinds.
